The HeroForge Character Management System contains only the 4th Edition game mechanics. If you are a subscriber to D&D Insider we have included an option that will allow you to make use of subscriber content. Provided of course you have a valid Insider account. If you are not a subscriber, you will be allowed the option of using the available free content.

Some of the features listed below assume that subscriber data is being used.

• Windows 7/ Windows Vista Users - During installation, if you choose to install the app in the Program Files (x86) folder (Win Vista) or Program Files (Win 7), you have to "Run this program as an administrator" (See below). If you choose to install the application to a different location outside of this folder, you might not have to do this, but it would be best if you did, so you have no problems after installation.
  
  If you experience an error that states, "Application can't run without the proper Settings File" or "Attempt to write a read only database", then you will need to make sure that you have set the HeroForge Character Management System.exe or the shortcuts to the .exe to "Run this program as an administrator" (See Below).

• CPU - 1GHz or higher recommended.
• RAM - 512MB minimum. 1GHz or higher recommended.
• HDD Space - 100MB minimum free space required.
• Screen Resolution - 1024 x 768 or higher recommended.
• After installation, and active Internet Connection is required to purchase a license and activate the software.

  If you experience an Error that says, "Too Many Cell Formats" you will probably have to download a format removal tool found here.
